DFM's MISSION

The Division of Financial Management (DFM) is located within the Office of Budget, Finance and Award Management (BFA).

DFM is responsible for the financial policy and financial management of NSF. The division is responsible for NSF’s financial reporting, grantee business office relationships, payment of vendors and staff reimbursement for travel expenses. The goal of DFM is to provide accurate, courteous and efficient financial service to NSF and NSF clients.

DFM is composed of three distinct branches.

• Accounting Operations
• Payments and Analytics
• Financial Systems

These branches provide financial services to the NSF community comprised of NSF staff, grantees, and vendors.
