Also… when picking a team, we can now see their 2024 team rankings in… Passing Rushing Blocking Pass Rush Coverage And Team Speed if a team is top 10 in any of these categories, the ranking will be in green text, 11 or lower will be grey
When browsing menus in M25, does it “save your spot” when you open a player bio and then back out?
Can you sort a stat and that sort be saved after opening a player bio and backing out?
Those were the biggest frustrations for me in the last like 11 Maddens.
Dude that’s a great call. It’s so annoying that it doesn’t save your spot when you go into bios. Really hope that gets changed!
It’s the laziest problem from EA and so annoying. How hard it is to go back to my defense after looking at a player instead of back for my offensive every time
Did they fix the RB drill where your FB wouldn't block for you on toss plays?
Right? Dude, I audibly groaned every time I was given a toss in the rushing attack mini game.
They probably haven’t fixed it, but if you just reverse field, most times the linebacker will get caught on one of your blockers, and you can juke the other guy.
Or if your guy is quick enough aim in at the bags forcing the linebacker to cut in and it leaves you a large gap to explode through.
They have fixed it but theres also a safety now and the timer is 1:30 secs but it is much easier than last year feels too easy
Get it 5 times in a row and it keeps you from getting gold because you lose a couple seconds every time.
As far as I could tell, yes they did. Drills in general now seem a lot easier to get gold on as well.
I just take that as an extra challenge, plus my linebackers are both plus 90 so my 80 ovr fb is not running out to beat them on a toss play lmao. Double broken ankles

Saw something yesterday that said the toss was removed and mini games were revamped. They also added an OL mini game.
I figured out how to beat the toss. Off turbo juke the 1st guy and off turbo juke the 2nd guy and it's a TD everytime.
I signed a FB with the express purpose of blocking for a rookie I wanted to develop in Rushing Attack and that motherfucker didn't block anyone once the whole year.
Wait am I too high right now for me to think why complain about a damn rb drill for like that that’s nothing to trip about it’s so many ways to actually score, even when the guy doesn’t get blocked why fix that it’s nothing damn you want eveytbing to be so easy ??? some things need to be challenging/ a little dooped out, that just that never bothered me at all like just run the other way, plus it’ll never be perfect but on the bright side of things did you read more drills incoming like I read 😍😍😍👏👏👏 @EA @MADDEN

this needs to be a MAJOR PRIORITY. It completely kills immersion once you are 3-4 years into a franchise.

This is a very small thing, but I hate when I’m playing franchise and I throw a TD and they call them out of bounds, but I challenge the call, it gets overturned, but my QB isn’t given the TD on his stats. This has been a problem for a long time
What is scouting like?
Pretty much the same, but you can see all of the attribute grades on the main scouting screen, and being able to sort it out

It’s boring. All you do is set your scouts and forget about it until the off season.
No grind throughout the season to scout anything. Never any busts if you know what you’re doing.
They need to have a bust generator. A guy who has an A in all the important categories should sometimes come out as normal Dev 65 overall. A bust. That just doesn’t happen in Madden. This happens IRL all the time where a top prospect just never pans out. Look at Chase Young or Solomon Thomas. Or Justin Fields or Mac Jones.
Dev traits should stay hidden. I hate that I know immediately if the guy is star dev or better simply because he gets “hidden dev”. Completely annihilated the point of trying to find gems late in the draft when you know immediately if they have a star or above grade.
It’s just a super lazy and non engaging process.

Scouting sucks now, atleast when they had a point based scouting you could grind out multiple players based on what you saw from the first scout. Now it’s almost impossible to scout particular players you just gotta go whole group and have to go all out on a group just to get 100% scouting. It’s kinda ass ngl
Just if like the menus were actually quick id be pretty excited.
How are the menus? Are they organized in a more efficient manner? Does it still do the thing in the adjust roster screen where if you looked at a player card it would boot you back to your offense when you pressed the back button? Same with the negotiation screen, if you viewed a players card, tried to trade them, and viewed your offers it would boot you all the way back to the negotiation screen.
Way more organized and efficient, instead of all of the menus and tabs it’s pretty much down to three tabs, and the trade offers seem to be fixed when I’ve been using it
Are you able to adjust trades to very hard (realistic) as you could on 24? I hope they didn't take that out....and thanks for the heads up on all of this.

Man it's been a minute since I've played but it's there for sure. I adjusted it to very hard for every season...you can also adjust the draft class strength for each position. It's in the season options...all the way to the right if memory serves?

How are the simulation stats? Is the game still playbook-dependent, where you could give Zach Wilson the Chiefs playbook and watch him throw for 5,000+ yards, or do attributes finally matter when it comes to simulated statistics?
more unpredictable, playbooks are still a factor, but aren’t as prevalent in previous years
Has anyone noticed if the AI logic is better? From a CPU franchise management perspective.
Nothing breaks immersion more than the AI logic in drafts, trades, signings etc
I’ve noticed less trades between the CPU’s but free agency and the draft have way better CPU logic, Star player extensions come first now for most CPU teams
Is there a way to select all 32 teams in a quicker fashion? Back in the day it was just the click of a button, and it's the same in 2k. I hate having to create 32 owners, so time consuming.

I’ve heard multiple people say it’s better, but for me personally it was still quite slow, could just be me.
They need to have trades happen during the draft. Maybe I’m missing something but CPU doesn’t trade during the draft in the last few versions of the game.
Is create a face in the game?
Can we do CB matchups this year. The main detail they ALWAYS missed was allowing us to match CB on WRs and LBs on TE/RBs. Not the stupid pre-snap rush to do it when the AI just snaps the ball before you can set it

I feel like the new scenarios aren't in the beta cause I haven't seen much of it, curious if anyone else has. This is one of the more notable changes or at least it's supposed to be. I like everything else though.

A few nice fixes but this honestly seems pretty underwhelming. No major features/reworks, just touching up a few things that have been problems for years. I appreciate fixing the game first but this really isn’t much
Can we get actual special teams positions? Like long snapper and gunner. Hell no, that would add too much realism to this arcade game. Also, why is IR even a feature when you can only use it for 3 players and they sit on it for 8 weeks? Dogshit EA can’t even get the proper rules of the NFL in the game.
I’ve always said u should be able to scrimmage other ppl teams in ‘practice mode’ of a Franchise. Would be dope if they allowed you to scrimmage other users instead of hitting the practice field against your def.

i’m sold. got so sick of madden 24 i picked up the old madden 25 and it was a blast playing franchise with how immersive the experience was. gameplay is better too
The gameplay is so good this year too, still missing some small details, but it’s one of the best Maddens I’ve played in a loooong time
I hate to agree. It just feels better, pass break ups are better, down field blocking is much improved. Menus are a lot better. I’m playing on a pc and seeing 90-120 fps at 1440 with everything maxed except for motion blur.
They added back the owner stuff, which I could really care less about how much a hot dog costs, but some people liked that.
For context I played pretty much every Madden game, I played like 3 games of 24 and put it down before the 10 hours expired.

Seeing picks drafted in the round I'm in is great and all, but I need to be able to see what picks I made previously because I have a terrible memory and don't want to draft the same position twice 90% of the time (with a few exceptions like grabbing two OLBs even if they're on the same side)

We can’t redo divisions, and we don’t know about the limit since Teambuilder isn’t in the beta
Maybe once Team Builder is out we can redo divisions I hope? If we can do a league similar to the NHL series (not holding my breath tbh...), my goal is to do a WFL (World Football League) of sorts with teams from around the world in addition to the standard NFL teams. But that's probably asking for too much from EA.

Yeah! I'd prefer that too, like the NBA 2k series but without the forced online crap. Maybe every year, add a team or two until I teach the limit (preferably 16+ expansion teams).
have had someone I know told me that for the weekly drills, if you receive a gold as an OL, it will ALWAYS give a +1 overall (like players do in preseason training camp) but it does this throughout the season not just preseason camp. is this real?

Hello EA I’m high as shit right now but I do have some suggestion to add (might I add these additions that you and the team have come up with are tremendous 🔥🙌 to say the least So thank you for such)
I believe there should be some sort of scenario portion of practice say a 3 & 10 full one session with the defense or a 2 minute drive ..that plays a huge factor for when you are in the game to me because you end up ending in those situations practice should be decided to move as if it was a game like and or stay the same and come back to the same spot etc .. also the ability to practice with your team against other users rather that being full on team practice or O vs D or even 7on 7 and that came be for training camp etc injuries be controlled by the teams
Also making indoor practice availability maybe a late night practice sessions, routes on air, 7 on 7 vs the teams O and D
Also training camps can be more in depth more on the field more personal experience More involved in the depths of a training camp, meaning what the guys are saying or what’s for chow, training methods, (sauna, jacuzzi,war pool etc) actual have control of these things towards the team

Man I just want more responsive menus. Accidentally clicking on the wrong thing when scouting prospects and it taking 30 minutes just to load the the page so you can hit back was so infuriating, especially when you're supposed to be clicking on and parsing through hundreds of prospects if you want to actually have a good draft.
This may seem small but I hope they added targets on players stats and the year they won awards or made the pro bowl …..that’s an underrated stat line!!!!!
Do we know what scouting will look like? Scouting for the draft is my favorite part, some people complain about the changes they made in the last couple years, but I actually like them. I want to know what the process is like for finding out true talent, and late round gems

Did ps5 go from 30 fps to 60 fps like Xbox X?
They always remove a similar amount of stuff anyway and blame it on the code, but they either refuse to put the effort into or can't get the neccesary man power and resources to rewrite the whole game mode from scratch. I'll be real, if they ever want the game to truly simulate football again, the code for most of the gameplay in madden needs to be totally purged and rewritten, it's been wayyyyy too long. The last time it happened was literally over a decade ago and you can see the game fall apart in front of you if you manipulate it the right way. Every game mode that isn't MUT needs to be rebuilt in some form or fashion, either because things simply don't work properly anymore or bec the changes they made to it (career mode) suck
How does team builder work in franchise?? Are you a 33rd team or do you replace one ?

The thing I don’t like about the draft grade thing is it’s not a new feature. At all. It’s always been in the game up until M22. They just re added it, and draft grades (at least I assume) literally just Depend on if you reach for a player or not. It’s not taking into the account the fit on the team, or the type of player, or the scheme or team need, it’s literally just based on if you reached or not.

This actually sounds amazing. I wasn't too hyped by 24s updates prior to release (sure 6 trade slots was....nice but not super exciting) but hearing all of this is actually great. I've been playing Madden 17 because of the fact it had a lot of these features.
I still won't instantly buy the game, but if the gameplay looks great then I probably will

The fact that people are excited by this is wild. These are minimal changes. From the pictures and videos I’ve seen, the draft changes are essentially ui changes that’s it. It’s essentially the same info just presented in a slightly different way.

For real tho. I'm pumped for college football. It'll be hilarious while I'm playing that and everyone will be posting about how madden menus are laggy and bugged. (They don't recode their menus they just add more code on top of the pre-existing code from the year before this causes the lag)
