That’s a good sign. Maybe she also had a really negative reaction to the bone. This is why vets are amazing. They have to diagnose our furkids by just looking for signs and follow the trail and hope they find the culprit. Plus the different in breeeds and the difference between cats and dogs. I’m amazed though at how much the pet medicine has changed over the last few decades. There’s essentially a doctor/physician for all the various specialities a pet can need.

Where should I stay?
Good luck. With RIMPAC ramping it it might be difficult to finding affordable. RIMPAC is a giant military exercise with nearly 30k people from 29 various countries. Granted a lot will be on their ships but it’s a month long and some fly families in and/or stay off their ships.

Also something to help the cane corso and potential others with arthritis is a librela injection. It’s newer on the US but Europe has been using it with great results. We give to our 11 yr old St Bernard and he see a big difference.

This is awesome. Still try to follow up with the neurologist to make sure. Those speciality doctors have so many tricks up there sleeve is unbelievable.

My 12 year old baby has kidney failure + pancreatitis
We used a company based in California called just food for dogs. They have a veternairy nutrinonist that works with you and your vet to design a diet especially for her needs. Our dog a cavalier King Charles had kidney disease—and with the diet change and meds the internal Medicine Dr was able to help him for 7 years. Another diet option is http://balanceit.com/. They can design a food for the pup.

Work with your vet, change the diet. Maybe try to set up an appointment with an internal medicine specialist.

I’ve heard of some even going over 10k. We had a client get one of the “fury frenchies” and they paid alot but he had to remain intact and used again as a stud for the “breeder”

HELP!!!!
We have a doxie as well but nothing controls his jumping. I made ramps for our beds too so they can easily get up and down. My wife also found some supplements to help the IVDD issues even though we don’t have issues now we still give them. Might be something to look into as well.

I can’t either. lol but it’s worth it to have healthy puppy’s. I love the insurance. We just had a liver biopsy done for a cavalier and it was 6k. Without it we would not have found the issue and she probably wouldn’t not be with us. She has extra copper in her liver but is treatable with the right diet and meds. Now she will hopefully have a longer healthy life

We have a large pack. My vet jokes that we picked the unhealthiest dogs. The others are Cavalier King Charles Spaniel—heart issues/dental issues , And also a Daschund-back and teeth, and then we have Toy Poodles but they are supposed to be healthy and the. A St Bernard who’s 11 and lastly a mixed dog who’s been the healthiest and lowest insurance deductible. Sorry didn’t mean to make you Spit out your coffee.

We have two. They are 5 and 6. We did get from a backyard breeder before we did our research. :(. One was 2500 and the other was free. They both have had the breathing issues fixed and had minor flare ups due to IVDD.
A puppy now sells for 5k and up here in Hawaii and it seems every other person is a breeder. I made a comment in another thread. There is a guy that hosts Frenchie get together out here. And once you go he asks about breeding your dog. Then there are the families that breed them so they can afford high end luxuries like classic cars and such. It’s insane. Not many ethical if any Frenchie breeders here. They are great dogs personality wise and really loving but the health issues will stop us from getting another Frenchie in the future.

My vet thinks frenchies might eventually be denied health insurance or insane amounts due to all health issues. My Frenchie with $250 deductible and 90% is 173 a month through healthypaws. My barber has a puppy and it’s nearly $300 a month

HELP!!!!
Frenchies should not be jumping as hard as it is to control. Get ramps for the couch or anything else they like to jump on—a simple jump can tweak there back and cause issue. We had it where they dogs were going outside hurriedly and one dog bumped the other and tweaked the back making him not wanting to walk and in severe pain. Even though they are built like a mini Sherman tank, they need to be treated with delicate hands. Hope he feels better soon. Crate rest will help out.
