Indoor Electromagnetic Radiation Intensity Relationship to Total Energy of Household Appliances

The coal can produce electromagnetic radiation when it is in the loading process. The electromagnetic radiation characteristics testing to the sample in the process of uniaxial compression failure in the lab shows that loading stress and the strength of electromagnetic radiation, the number of electromagnetic radiation pulse, the number of acoustic emission pulse are positively correlated relationship when it is in the loading process. They usually have a good corresponding relationship with each other, but are not completely synchronization. They test the corresponding relationship between the electromagnetic radiation intensity of coal and main parameters gas emission initial speed of traditional prediction of coal and gas outburst borehole and amount of drilling cuttings. The results show that the electromagnetic radiation intensity and gas emission initial speed of borehole and amount of drilling cuttings have a positive correlation, and the linear positive correlation equation is obtained. Thus it can be seen, electromagnetic radiation characteristics can be used for predicting the outburst of coal and gas.

Abstract It is shown that bursts of intensity of ionizing electromagnetic radiation from the Sun, as well as geomagnetic storms, cause a statistically significant decrease in the total number of earthquakes on Earth. After bursts of ionizing radiation from the Sun, a statistically significant decrease in the total energy of earthquakes occurs, and after geomagnetic storms, its increase is observed. This is mainly due to an increase in the number of the strongest earthquakes with MS > 7 after geomagnetic storms and a decrease in the number of such earthquakes after bursts of ionizing electromagnetic radiation from the Sun. During geomagnetic storms and for several days after them, the probability of occurrence of strong earthquakes increases more than two times, and after bursts of ionizing electromagnetic radiation from the Sun, this probability decreases almost twice.

Представлен метод использования данных спектров поглощения, отражения и ослабления мятки семян подсолнечника для оценки степени нагрева растительного материала в СВЧ-камере. Определена величина полезной энергии СВЧ-излучения в диапазоне от 5,6 до 12,1 ГГц при различной позиции исследуемого материала относительно излучателя. Установлена максимальная степень трансформации электромагнитного излучения в полезную энергию тепла в количестве 48,7% от общей энергии СВЧ-излучения на частоте 12,1 ГГц при размещении материала вблизи отражателя. Представленный метод может быть применен для моделирования процессов нагрева различных растительных материалов с помощью микроволнового излучения. The method of the heating degree calculation of grinded sunflower seeds in a microwave chamber using absorption, reflection and attenuation properties is presented. The value of the useful energy of microwave radiation in the range of 5,6 to 12,1 GHz with different material and emitter position in a chamber was determined. It was obtained that the maximum transformation degree of electromagnetic radiation into useful heat energy is 48,7% of the total energy of microwave radiation at 12,1 GHz with positioning the material near the reflector. The presented method can be applied for a heating processes modeling and calculation of various plant materials using microwave treatment.

Abstract Briquette hammer fracturing experiments were conducted with different impact energies and molding pressures to investigate the characteristics of the electromagnetic signals. The response pattern of the electromagnetic radiation energy as a function of the impact energy and the coal firmness during impact fracturing of a coal mass were analyzed. The characteristics of the electromagnetic radiation signals during the uniaxial compression fracture of a coal mass were also used to analyze their source during fracture. The results show that the generation of electromagnetic radiation during coal mass fracturing can be divided into three stages: compaction, crack propagation and sliding friction. Electromagnetic energy is mainly radiated during the sliding friction stage. The electromagnetic radiation during briquette hammer fracturing is characterized by a frequency below 2000 Hz, an amplitude in the range from 0.05 to 0.6 mV, and a total energy on the order of ∼10−14–10−10 J. For coal masses with the same firmness, as the impact energy increases, the total energy of the electromagnetic radiation increases. For the same impact energy, as the firmness of the coal mass increases, the total energy of the electromagnetic radiation first increases and then decreases.
