Program Educational Objective (PEO)

SUBJECT: Electronics Engineering (EEC-101)


PEO: This subject is taught to engineering students in the first year to provide basic knowledge of electronic components like Diode, transistors (BJT & FET), Op-amps etc, and measuring instruments. The objective of this subject is to prepare students for PG/INDUSTRY and electronic circuit lab works in subsequent semester. The PEO of this subject comes under category of (1) PREPARATION, (2) CORE COMPETENCE (3) BREADTH. (4) PROFESSIONALISM (5) LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

OUTCOMES (a) Graduates will demonstrate knowledge of mathematics and engineering. (b) Graduates will demonstrate an ability to formulate and solve engineering problems. (c) Graduate will demonstrate on ability to design and conduct experiments analyze and interpret data. (d) Graduates will demonstrate an ability to design a system, component or process as per needs and specifications. (e) Graduates will demonstrate an ability to visualize and work on laboratory and multiple disciplinary tasks (f) Graduate will demonstrate skills to use modern engineering tools, softwares and equipment to analyze problems. (g) Graduates will demonstrate knowledge of professional and ethical responsibilities. (h) Graduate will be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form. (i) Graduate will show the understanding of impact of engineering solutions on the society and also will be aware of contemporary issues. 1. PREPARATION: To prepare students for PG program or to succeed in industry/technical profession. 2. CORE COMPETENCE: To provide solid foundation in mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals. 3. BREADTH: An ability to understand a broad range of topics. a teacher must have a breadth of knowledge of the subject. To train students to analyze, design an create novel products and solution for real life problems. 4. PROFESSIONALISM: To inculcate professional and ethical attitude, communication skill and multi disciplinary approach. 5. LEARNING ENVIRONMENT: To provide academic environment with excellence, leadership and guidelines.
