    BBFC

    BBFC stands for British Board of Film Classification that looks into films and gives them there classification due to what lies in them. After research into our film genre we decided to make our short film a PG. We had to take into account all every aspect about our short film. The BBFC guidelines focus on the violence, language, sex, nudity, behaviour, discrimination and horror in its content. Our short film does not have any of the items listed and thats why we seemed fit to give it a PG rating. Our film is aimed at teens because of its storyline is more likely to effect this age bracket. Because our film has the reality side to it and the audience we aimed it at we took it upon ourselves to keep to as clean as possible. We didnt want to take the risk because its a real life scenario people to be influenced by it in a negative way.

    No detail dangerous detailed behaviour which minors are likely to be influenced by. Weapons should be publicized. Dangerous behaviour isnt represented in our film. If drugs are shown they must carry an anti message at minimum. They are no drugs in our film so this didnt concern us. Discriminatory language is not acceptable unless its in context of education or historical context. Discrimination of characters should rarely happen as minors this age will be influenced. Our short film doesnt contain discrimination so this doesnt abide to us. Horror scenes shouldnt be intense as minors could easily be scared. Our film genre is comedy so horror wont exist in ours. Mild language should be kept to the minimum. We didnt put any swearing in our film as it wasnt necessary. Natural nudity but has no sexual reference to it. Nude scenes arent amongst our film. Sexual activity may be discreet and occur infrequently. Sex references should be kept wild. No sexual nature has been included in our production. Violence may be included without detail. Has to have a reason and justified meaning to it. Production doesnt contain any violent scenes.
