Course Summary:
Practical Grammar is a course which aims to provide learners with a deeper understanding in all the main grammar tenses. As well as written practice, learners will also get spoken practice of the grammar covered. Methods and approaches to teaching grammar will also be addressed.

Required Textbook:
Course Packet, Incorporating: Grammar In Use Intermediate (3rd Edition) Raymond Murphy with William R. Smalzer. Cambridge 2009

Evaluation:
Mid-term: 30% Homework: 20% Final: 30% Language Awareness Quiz: 10% Participation: 10%

Manner of Lecturing:
Presentation, Pair Work, Group Work.
