    Assembly Instruction of the power cable/ Tuningkit PD for VAG PD engines


    1. Open Engine hood. Replace the oil measuring stick and engine cover. The engine cover is normally simple clipped. VW Passat: Replace 3 10mm screws behind the round plastic covers and then replace the engine cover.

    2. The temperature sensor is on the right side (looking at the motor from the front side). VW-Passat: The temperature sensor is between the engine and the car dashboard. You can identify the temperature sensor mostly by a green metal clamp. The sensor is connected to the diesel pipe. Dont replace the clamp! Replace the connector to the temperature sensor by opening the safety mechanism of the connector. In some cases it easier to spray oil on the connector. The safety mechanism of the connector can be opened by your finger or with a small screw driver. Look on the power cable to understand the mechanism.

    3. Mount the power cable / Tuningkit PD between temperature sensor and the replaced connector. Fix the cable with a cable binder. 4. Mount the engine cover and oil measuring stick. Close the engine hood and enjoy a test drive.
