    ART FOR EVERYONE

    ART for EVERYONE begins with papers and pencil. Step by step, this hobby class will cover a diversity of topics and lessons on drawing & painting techniques, subjects and styles. These lessons enable the students to develop, interpret and express their ideas creatively.

    DAY & TIME Thursday : 8:30am - 10:30am / 10:30am - 12:30pm / 2:00pm - 4:00pm Saturday : 10:00am - 12:00pm / 2:00pm - 4:00pm / 4:30pm - 6:30pm Sunday : 10:00am - 12:00pm / 1:30pm - 3:30pm
    (4 lessons per month; 1 x 2 hours session weekly)

    COURSE STRUCTURE
    INTRODUCTORY STAGE (12 lessons): Learn to observe and handling tools & materials Part I : Visual vocabulary, basic drawings & colour study Part II : Painting techniques of watercolour / acrylic (flat & graded wash, wet on wet, wet on dry, creating texture); or Painting techniques of oil / acrylic (blending, alla prima, glazing, scumbling, impasto) INTERMEDIATE STAGE (24 lessons): Familiar with Subjects & Form Part I :Exploring compositional form for Still Life, Landscape, Portrait & Abstract Part II : Exploring Modern Art Styles ADVANCE STAGE (24 lessons): Thematic Development Part I : Developing a series of related work Part II : New subject matters, new strategies
    Payment Details Tuition fee Materials fee : RM 200 per month : Not included. Participants to bring their own materials.

    Note: Tuition fee is collected every month. Class is conducted in a group of around 12 participants per group. Certificate of Achievements will be issued upon request. Terms and Conditions apply. Registration is based on first-come, first-served basis. Confirmation based on receipt of class fee. Fees paid are not refundable. No cancellation of registration is allowed but a replacement will be accepted The organiser reserves the right to make any amendments / changes to the course if warranted by circumstances beyond their control.
