    . Reflection: From March 25, 2013 to March 26,2013. This week consisted about two days of class, because it was Holy Week. Although it is a short academic week, we had to continue with the schedule and this week we begin a new topic. The students were going to begin the topic of Essay writing. They were going to know about the essay format, the types of essay and review the writing process. I was afraid that there were going to be many students absent, but I was fortunate to have most of the students in class. Only 3 to 5 students were absent these days. This is a topic that they will fully develop in high school, but our standards detail that in ninth grade they are supposed to be able to write a draft. So, in the next weeks we are planning to explain more the types of essays and go to the complete writing process by writing an essay of the topic and type of their choice. I think that my students will be able to improve their writing skills by writing an essay. I consider that my students are the type of students that need to be challenged and they will perform well. Sometimes, I had given some assignments that they do more than what is asked for, although the instructions were clear and simple. Like other teenager students, they can complain sometimes about doing classroom work, but they are great at following instructions and class participation. My hope is that when they enter the high school, they will continue developing a higher English language proficiency level. Some of them will not continue the bilingual education, but that doesnt mean that they are going their English language skills. At their early age of fourteen years old, they have already set their goals for the future. My students have prove to be very talented and confident about their abilities, for that I know they will accomplish whatever they pursue to do in their lives. Dr. Anbal Muoz Claudio
