Lightning Protection System

HDB use aluminium lightning tape on the roof top and run the aluminium down conductor on surface of external wall/column.

The aluminum down conductor is connect to copper tape using bi-metallic aluminum/copper connector at a height of 2.5m. The copper tape shall be properly concealed or embedded to prevent it from being removed

TV System

All distribution amplifiers are to be properly secured with locking device and engrossed with Serial number. All Tee units in the Telecom Riser and distribution amplifiers are to be spray painted

Conceal conduits should be gradually bent and has no more than 2 nos. of 90 degree bend between two points and the crossing of conduits should be kept to a minimum so that the covering of the conduit should be sufficient
