The text discusses using horary astrology to predict the outcome of sporting events and games. It provides rules for assigning planets and houses to different teams and analyzing planetary placements and aspects to determine the likely winner.

The text outlines several rules for determining the winning team based on the placements and aspects of the rulers of the 1st, 5th, 7th, and 10th houses, the Moon, Jupiter, Venus, and the pars fortunae. A team is more likely to win if the significators for that team are well-placed and unafflicted.

Some indicators of a team winning mentioned in the text include the rulers of the 1st and 5th houses or 1st and 2nd houses being strong and unafflicted, the Moon unafflicted and well-aspected, and the pars fortunae well-placed and unafflicted by malefic planets.

The 1st and 7th house show opponents The 5th house, and 11th house (counted as 5th

from the 7th) describe how they play the game The 10th house and 4th house (counted as 10th from the 7th) indicates their honour and the ability to win the game

There are several methods to do a horary reading of an event chart where we need to consider the home team and the visiting team.

The home team is represented by ASC and visiting is represented by the DSC The favorite team is represented by ASC and underdog is represented by the DSC

My favourite method is to asign ASC or DSC upon kit's colour of teams.

I think it is most secure variant. Why? Because, ASC for one team, and DSC for another team are all about apperance, that is the first impression what we get when ASC or DSC team run on playground and than we usually say: "White" are our team, and "red" are "enemy"(for example).

Example
Here is the picture from match Manchester United vs Arsenal (0:1), 17 September 2006, 16h, Manchester. Look well at this picture, and then look at chart! How appropriate is chart regarding kit's colour of teams in this case! If you cast the chart you got ASC=3Cap05. Ruler of ASC is Sa in Leo. As you see on picture Arsenal has yellow (Leo) and black (Sa) sports kit. So Arsenal is ASC and its ruler! Ruler of DSC is Moon (white) in Leo (bright red). So, DSC and its ruler is Manchester United.

If we are casting a horary or casting an event chart, and there is a strong favorite, the usual delineation for the VOC Moon fits nicely. Nothing much happens, i.e., the favorite wins."Nothing much happens" means that the expected result occurs. If we are dealing with a sport like boxing, where there is a sitting champion who will either retain his crown or lose it, as opposed to a season long effort to obtain top ranking or a tournament like Wimbledon, then we would use the 10th house for the champion and the 4th house for the opponent. Again, the VOC Moon would indicate the champion retains his crown.

If you are not sure which team to choose for the ASC just look for a colour which is suitable for the ASC sign and its ruler:

COLOURS -THE FOUNDATION OF ACCURATE PREDICTION!

As to some principles, assigning colours isn't as hard as you may think. Try not to be over-awed by it. Each planet goes against one other all of the time (apart from Saturn which goes against the Sun and the Moon). This makes it much easier. The planets all take some time to go through their current signs too (I don't use the Moon as a significator) so there is ample opportunity to get it right. Another thing is that even though in a perfect world both planets match both teams, we only need one to match up. The other is assigned by default.

In general: Sun vs Saturn: we're looking for light vs dark repectively. Sun does represent red, yellow, gold, purple and Saturn black, brown, dark green but if I had a light blue and a blood red I can be almost certain that the Sun is the light colour and the Saturn the dark. Mercury vs Jupiter: Mercury is rather mutable, so it takes on the colours of it's current sign alot. It is white and yellow. Jupiter is expansive and vibrant and so are it's kits. Bright reds, deep blues, purples. Again though, each planet's characteristics can be found in the relevant kits. Black may not fit either planet strictly, it is more likely to be Mercury as black doesn't scream expansion or vibrance to me. You often get red vs blue in football matches. In this case they are both Jupiter colours but looking at the nature of them, red is more vibrant and more akin to Jupiter than Mercury. Venus vs Mars: Calm vs intensity. These selections are pretty simple. Colour-wise Venus is soft and gentle while Mars is deep, dark and intense. While I do admit I get some wrong at times, this is a simple method once you practice it and think "outside the box". The colours don't have to be 100% matched to what you've got on paper but each planet has a flavour, a feel, as does each kit. It's just a case of matching them up and as I said, it takes around a month for the quickest planets to move through a sign so you have plenty of time to see how that sign affects the selection. I did not select to the end.

In such a situation you have to consider the adequate zodiacal sign which represents the country or the city in the question. For that purpose go to this link: Zodiacal Signs and Countries When you determine who is ASC and who is DSC, first check out the potential for a draw. The match is draw usually if:

the Moon is in detriment or fall

the Moon applying to a malefic the Moon is combust the Moon's dispositor is combust the Moon applying to or separating from a conjunction of the South node the Moon's dispositor applying to or separating from a conjunction of the South node the Moon's dispositor is retrograde

Here is the example chart for the match which ended as a draw - 1:1. This is the event chart for match Barcelona vs. Chelsea.

As you see, the dispositor of the Moon is combust and retrograde. I noticed, in my practice, than whenever you have retrograde planet in house of fame and success (10th house for the ASC team, or 4th house for the DSC team, here we have Sa rx in 10th house), there are more possibility that goals will be scored in second half of the match. That was the case in this match. Ronaldinho (Barcelona) scores in 78min, and than in 90+2min. Lampard (Chelsea) scores from the penalty spot. I also noticed, from my practice than whenever you have Chiron in 10th or 4th there are more possibility for penalty.

Extra time and penalties...

When in horary event chart angles are cardinal, rulers cardinal and Moon cardinal all happens very quick so everything will be completion until 90 min. When in horary event chart angles are mutable, rulers mutable and Moon mutable all happens less quick so we can expect extra time. When in horary event chart angles are fix, rulers fix and Moon fix all happens slow so we can expect penalties. Of course, you will rarely get so clear "picture", but you than count and see what fact prevails (cardinal, mutable, fix). See my example chart for extra time and penalties:

If there is no potential for a draw, than go on and look for rulers of corresponding houses, their accidental dignities and determine which is stronger. Please note that this step takes careful consideration and it is never as easy as it sounds like! But if accidental dignities and debilities are more or less equal, a strong discrepancy of essentiall dignity can be crucial.

For Lilly's table to examine the accidental dignity & debility of each planet click here! For Lilly's table to examine the essential dignity & debility of each planet click here! Remember these rules:

Moon near ASC or MC (orb 2) ASC team will win Moon near DSC or IC (orb 2) DSC team will win Ruler of 1st house on cusp of DSC(orb 2) ASC team will win Ruler of 7th house on cusp of ASC(orb 2) DSC team will win The North node strengthen the house in which it is. So, if it is in the 7th house it is good sign for DSC team. A ruler in an angular house has great advantage over one in a cadent or succedent house. If ruler is closer to a house cusp, the greater it's effect on that house. If ruler is in a different sign to the house cusp, it's effect will be greatly diminished. Look for applaying Moon's aspects with ruler of 1st and ruler of 7th house within 5. But, if Moon is near the end of sign look for Moon's aspects only untill end of that sign. Which ruler Moon last aspect, that team will win! It is not important if that aspect is easy one (trine, sextile) or hard (square, oposition). But if Moon's applaying aspect is conjunction with one of the ruler, that is "end of story"! Winner is team which is represented with that ruler! Look for applaying Moon's aspects with POF(daily formula) or with antiscion of POF(APOF) a)If Moon conjunct, sextile, trine POF or APOF ASC team will win!! b)If Moon square, opose POF or APOF DSC team will win!!

Remember: Moon's aspect with POF or APOF is FINAL! POF on North Node - ASC team will win POF on South Node - DSC team will win When Moon is in Via Combust way (which is between 15 degrees Libra and 15 degrees Scorpio), avoid to predict winner, because with this Moon's position outcome is unpredictable!

Thanks to Peter from Canada, one member of Sports astrology forum I get to know how to predict timing of goals! Here are his suggestions:

If you want to predict the time when goals will be scored you have to add minute by minute on kick/off time and see if there are some change regarding signs on cusps or regarding planet entering in new house. But problem is that not every change means goal, but every change is possibility for goal. For goals in second half it is important to know add time and pause time exactly. For example, goals scored in 61min may mean 45 min 1st half + for example 2 minutes add time + 15 minutes pause +16 minutes from 2nd half. Because there must past 4min for change one degree, in some cases you have goal few minutes after some change. Example:

Here is the event chart for match Barcelona vs Werder Bremen 2:0 (12min, 17min); 5 Dec 2006. 8:45, GMT+1, Comp Now, 2E11, 41N23 As you see, after only 2 min from kick/off, ASC/DSC axic change sign to Le/Aq, but at that time noone scored. Next change was at 20:55h (10 min), when Me from 5th house entered in 4th house. Two minutes later Ronaldinho score for Barcelona. At 21:02h (17min) Sa entered 1st house and that was the time when Gudjohnsen scored second goal for Barcelona. From my experience goals are usually scored when:

POF is in partile aspect with the ruler of the 1st, 7th, 4th, 10th house, or Chiron, or ASC/DSC or MC/IC axis, or Nodes Antiscion of the POF is in partile aspect with the ruler of the 1st, 7th, 4th, 10th house Ruler or Antiscion of the ruler of the 1st, 7th, 4th, 10th house is in partile aspect with ASC/DSC or MC/IC axis Moon or Antiscion of the Moon is in partile aspect with ASC/DSC or MC/IC axis Nodes are in partile aspect with ASC/DSC or MC/IC axis ASC/DSC axis and MC/IC axic on same degree ASC/DSC axis or MC/IC axic change sign Chiron in partile aspect with ASC/DSC or MC/IC axis

In example above, at the scoring time, 20:55, we had Sun's antiscion (ruler of 1st house) at 16 Cap 28, in partile square with MC/IC axis! At the time when 2nd goal was scored, at 21:02 we had POF in partile sextile with Sun, ruler of 1st house!

Horary Astrology
The horary astrology is a special branch of astrology with quite different rules of natal astrology, which allows predictions in all domains of life, including sports predictions. Below is a text explaining the rules to follow in this special kind of sports astrology.

Proper horary questions Will A or B win the foot race? Which will win the quoite match? Which will win the game at cards? Shall I be able to win the battle? Can I bargain to my advantage? Shall I be succesfull in the rafle? Shall I win this wager? Shall I win or loose by purchasing these shares, etc.? The lord of the ascendant and the Moon are for the querent.

The Vth house, its ruler, and planets therein are for the gain or loss. The VIIth house and its ruler signify the opponent. Rules for winning 1. Rulers of the Ist and Vth, or the Ist and IInd strong or Venus and Jupiter therein, unafflicted and not retrograde. 2. The Moon unafflicted, or the ruler of the Ist or the IInd or the Moon in conjunction or good aspect of the Pars Fortunae. 3. The Pars Fortunae in the Ist, Xth or Vth, and not in bad aspect with the malefics, or the ruler of the Ist, Vth or VIIth. 4. Jupiter, ruler of both Ist and IInd or Vth, unafflicted. 5. The ruler of the Ist, or the Moon in the VIIth, or especialy in Taurus, in the Vth, or the ruler of the Vth in the Ist, in dignities, and not afflicted by aspect of Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Mars or the South Node. 6. The governor of the Ist in conjunction, sextile or trine, to the lord of the Vth, especially if these significators are in reception. 7. The ruler of the IInd a benevolent and powerfully posited. 8. A benevolent in the IInd or Vth, and also in good aspect of the lord of the Ist, IInd or Vth. 9. The ruler of the Vth better dignified then the ruler of the VIIth. 10. The ruler of the Vth and VIIIth separating from good with each other, and the lord of the Vth applying benevolently to either the ruler of the Ist, IInd or Pars Fortunae. 11. The North Node in the Ist, IInd, Vth or Xth is a slight testimony. Losing testimonies 1. The lord of the Ist, IInd or VIIth, an infortune, or retrograde, or debilitated. 2. The ruler of the Ist or Vth, or the Moon, afflicted, or much debilitated. 3. The lord of the Vth in the VIIth, in reception of the ruler of the VIIth. 4. The lord of the Vth separating from the lord of the IInd, and applying to conjunction, sextile or trine, to the lord of the VIIIth, or Uranus, Saturn, Mars or the South Node. 5. The Pars Fortunae in the VIIth, or in good aspect to the ruler of the VIIth or VIIIth; or Neptune, Uranus, Saturn or Mars in the Vth, and not the ruler. 6. The Moon in Square of Jupiter or Venus will not detriment unless she be debilitated. 7. The South Node in the Ist, IInd, Vth or Xth house. If you find equal testimonies, judge the most powerful significators win; but if there happen to be more of the one than another, always decide in all questions in favour of the greater number of reasons or testimonies.
