    1. RICE MILLS ONLINE M.I.S.

    (RM-OMIS)
    This is the first initiative in the State of Andhra Pradesh wherein the MSP Certificates and related Permits by the Civil Supplies Department and this is successfully implemented since January 2012 with the cooperation from the 300 odd rice millers of the district. All Trading Rice Millers will login this server and update the daily information which he has to do manually in B-Register as per Control Order. This gives the facility of generation B-Register on near real time basis. The miller gives the request for MSP based on the data updated by him, which is verified by respective CSDTs on inspection. Basing on the enquiry report, the DSO approves and generates online MSP certificates. Subsequent request for Permits and generation of permits are also happening online and the entire transaction of the District with respect to Rice movement can be monitored through this system. This initiative got stabilized in this district with the active cooperation from the millers and now the Commissioner, Civil Supplies Department made this initiative compulsory for this District from KMS-2013.

    2. MLS POINTS ONLINE M.I.S. (MLS OMIS)


    Actually, MLS Points are the central hubs for all subsidy related Civil supplies department activities like PDS, MDM and issuance of commodities to Hostels and business activities of Civil Supplies Corporation. Hence, three activities are carried out 1. Payment of charges of indent by FP shops dealers are made in rural areas through Andhra Bank Challan Systems (doing away with DD system and around 32.40 lakhs were saved to the FP shop dealers by way of DD commission charges per annum) and through urban eSEVA payments. 2. The database of FP Shop dealers was created in this system following the unique id system of Andhra Bank Challan System and Tahsildar is made to update the closing balance in this system so that online indents can be generated for each month to the FP shops All the transactions like inflow and outflow to MLS points are captured real time and receipts are also made online in real time. The vehicle-wise monitoring is made possible. This system has the potential of creating the R ELEASE ORDERS OF THE indent for the FP shops centrally as well and this can be implemented to avoid the impact of unwritten nexus between Tahsildars.
