Wednesday Evening Childrens Series

Audience participation from both kids and adults make Melvins show one to remember. At the end of every magic show, Hocus Pocus the magic bunny makes his magical entrance with the help of everyone.

A magical puppet fantasy. Are all princesses helpless? Are all knights brave and strong? Are all dragons evil? Find out in this whimisical retelling of the fairy tale by E. Nesbitt. Explore the issues of stereotypes, discrimination, self-esteem, greed, and friendship with this vivid puppet production. This show features classical music, large rod puppets, mouth puppets, a 7-food dragon and a life-size knight on horseback for a jousting scene you will never forget!

Andy mingles traditional and original songs and novelty, delighting and involving kids through sing-a-longs, dancing, play-acting and storytelling.

August 14 The Zucchini Brothers

Zany foot taping music with Words of Wisdom. This band of brothers: Jack on Guitar, Steve on Keyboards, Sam on Drums (each his own character, all of whom sing) offers up a musicla stir-fry of styles. You never know just what these three zany guys will do. But one things for sure, once youve seen em-you wont forget em.

August 21 Family Flicks in the Park

(rain date August 26) Grab your blankets and chairs and bring the family for an evening filled with fun and games. Family Flicks in the Park, hosted by Radio Disney AM 1460, returns to Clifton Common this summer. The Radio Disney AM 1460 Road Crew will kick off the evening of family fun with music, dancing, games and prizes starting at 7pm followed by the showing of a family friendly film. June 30 Clifton Park Community Chorus An energetic, fun-loving multi-generational group singing seasonal songs to show tunes, classic to contemporary, toe-tapping to tender, melodious and memorable. July 7 The Sweetback Sisters Emily Miller and Zara Bode may not be blood relations, but their precise, family-style harmonies recall the best of country music from the Everlys to The Judds, as well as the spirited rockabilly energy of Wanda Jackson, one of the bands role models. Like the artists they admire, the Sweetbacks are concerned with the traditional subjects of heartbreak, revenge, remorse and staying strong in the face of relationships gone wrong, albeit with a contemporary sensibility. July 14 Hair of the Dog - Sponsored by Ianniello Anderson, P.C. Over the past decade, Hair of the Dog has entertained thousands of fans of all ages with their unique blend of Celtic, rock, folk and bluegrass music. Their high-energy sound, smooth four-part harmonies and tight instrumental attack has made them Americas number one Irish folk band. July 19-20 Guys and Dolls Jr. Presented by Not So Common Kids theatre camp. 6:00 pm start Set in Damon Runyons mythical New York City, Guys and Dolls Jr. introduces us to colorful characters who have become legends in the musical theatre canon. July 19-21 & The Music Man July 25-28 Presented by Not So Common Players. 8:00 pm start A con man comes to a Midwestern town with a scam involving a boys marching band program, but things dont go according to plan and he finds love instead.
