Activity Analysis: Whole group sequencing of eventsstudents will be able to place items in the correct order as a class. Each student will be given a picture of items the old lady swallowed and will place them in the correct order, getting help from their classmates if necessary. Students will enjoy being able to hold the pictures and seeing the items up close. Technology will not be used in this portion of the lesson because I feel like hands on approach would be best and get the point across better. Individual sequencing of eventsstudents will work individually to show that they understand and are able to retell key details of the story read in class. The students will be gluing objects in the correct order from one to eight and they will be able to draw a picture of the old lady trying to eat the items. The students will enjoy being able to cut pictures out and drawing their old ladies. I will use the smart board to display the different names of the items the old lady swallowed for early finishers.
