Issues

Issues regarding spare parts: Non availability of certain genuine parts. Non availability of non-performing parts. Non availability of diagnostic tools. Supplier scheduling. Issues regarding Human resources:
Lack

of technical expertise. Retention of skilled labor.

Inventory management.

Customer dissatisfaction:
Absence

of genuine parts lead to using spurious parts which in turn jeopardizes the safety of the car owners. Quality standards not being met throughout all the franchises.

Due to rapid expansion of multi brand outlets by following a franchise model, it is difficult to track the implementation of standard operating procedures for different vehicles.

Restrictive practices impact multi brand auto service chain: non availability of spare parts and technical information to repair cars and maintain cars. Transit problems: There are incidents when the parts are damaged during the transit period. Issues concerning forecasting, mainly because of unpredictability of the market.
