    ABSTRACT

    This final year project is about an enhancement of a trolley that used especially in
    aircraft maintenance workshop. Trolley is a device which is important to ease of transportation
    and to decrease the work load act as a lift to transfer and carry heavy items from one place to
    another. The study of a basic manufacturing process was very important in order to carry out this
    project to ensure that student capable to design and fabricate a usable trolley at the lowest cost
    and easy maintenance. Manufacturing is a process of converting raw material into a product.
    Therefore the main objective of this project is about designing and fabrication the Aircraft Wheel
    Trolley that can be used to help people especially aircraft maintenance crew to transport heavy
    item efficiently, reduced the workload and save time during scheduled or nonscheduled
    maintenance tasks. This project involves the process of designing the trolley by considering the shape,
    functionality, portability at the lowest cost .The material used in this project is a rectangular hollow steel
    and circular hollow steel. The joining method joining that can be compatible to used with this metallic
    materials is welding techniques(nyatakan jenis welding yg digunakan..cthnya gas welding atau arc
    welding atau electrical resistant).The wheel assembly is using fastening method with the use of bolts and
    nuts to attach the wheel with the base of this trolley. This project also required a simple analysis in terms
    of its strength to ensure the it is safe to used.
