Independent Dependent: Variable How Why

The document summarizes a study that aims to investigate differences in sensitivity to pressure points between teenage and middle-aged males and females. It is hypothesized that teenagers will be more sensitive due to fully developed pressure sensors with stronger, faster and more accurate reactions. The independent variables are gender and age group, while the dependent variable is number of points detected. Controls include using the same paperclip diameter and distance between tested areas to ensure accuracy. The method involves testing subjects' ability to identify one or two points from a paperclip applied to different body areas with their eyes closed, recording the results.

Pressure points

Aim: To investigate the difference between sensitivity of sensory neuron under the skin of male and
female of both teenagers and people of the middle ages
Hypothesis: I predict that a teenager of both genders will be more sensitive to the pressure point
experiment than a middle aged person, this is because the pressure sensors have completed their
development and have stronger, faster and more accurate reaction time.
