Logic Reasoning: 1) Ans: - (A)

R's sister is mother of N, who is daughter of S. Statement I alone provides enough information to determine the relationship between S and R, which is brother-in-law. Statement II alone does not provide enough information. The document then provides examples of logic problems and their solutions involving relationships between people and the order of words and numbers.

LOGIC REASONING

1) Ans:- (a)
Solution:
STATEMENT I: Rs sister is mother of N, who is daughter of S.
Let X be Rs sister.

Sister

Mother
Daughter of
N

X is sister of R. N is child of X and daughter of N. Therefore, X

has to be mother and S has to be father of N.
STATEMENT II: P is the sister of S.
P

sister

To find how S is related to R, data in statement I alone is

sufficient. S is related to R as brother in law.
But data provided in statement II alone is not sufficient to tell
how S is related to R.
Hence, option (a): data in statement I alone are to sufficient to
answer the question, while the data in statement II alone are not
sufficient to answer the question.

2) Ans:- (a)
Solution:
Given A#B$C*D
i) Here, A#B means A is mother of B. Therefore, B is child of A.
ii) Further, B$C means B is brother of C.
iii) C*D means C is daughter of D.
Hence, from (i) and (ii)B and C are siblings and children of A.
From (iii) C is daughter of D.
Therefore, as A is mother of C, D has to be the father.
Hence, in A#B$C*D D is the father.
The correct answer is option (a) D.
3) Ans:- (c)
Solution:
P, Q, R, S and T teach five courses A, B, C, D and E from
January to May.
According to given data, P teaches course B and Q teaches
course A.R does not teach course C or D. Therefore, R
teaches course E, since course A and B are already being
taught by Q and P respectively.
Therefore, lecturer S will be teaching either course C or D.
Hence, correct answer is option (c)either C or D.
4) Ans:- (3)

Pens can be position A or B.

In position A, only condition IV is right.
In position B, conditions I, II and IV are true.
From above results, we conclude that only condition IV is true.
Hence, correct answer is option (3)Only IV follows.

5) Ans:- (3)
Solution:
We will first arrange all words and numbers in descending
order .
Now we will alternately place Words and numbers in
descending order, keep remaining sentence same.
Hence, output will be as follows:

For Given Input

Input: glass full 15 37 water now 85 67
Descending words: water, now, glass, full
Descending numbers: 85,67,37,15
Step I: water glass full 15 37 now 85 67
Step II: water 85 glass full 15 37 now 67
Step III: water 85 now glass full 15 37 67
Step IV: water 85 now 67 glass full 15 37
Step V: water 85now 67 glass full 15 37
Step VI: water 85now 67 glass 37 full 15
Correct answer is option (3)
