Activity 1.3.1 Autopsy Report
The brief background information about the case that is being presented is that we had to
find evidence if it was a murder, natural causes, and if it was a suicide or an accident. Anna
Garcia was found in mostly all of the evidence that shows she was alone by herself. Alex Garcia
was found on the fingerprints, and the blood type. Anna Garcia and Alex Garcia got a divorce,
after
Fingerprints: The fingerprint identifies the suspect that did the crime. People have different
fingerprints patterns. Some people have a pattern of Arch, Loop, Whorl, and etc. You can use a
magnifying glass to look for patterns from the fingerprint. You could also use a pencil or pen, or
something pointy you can point with.
Blood Type: The blood type that was found at the crime scene was a type B and that matched
with Alex Garcia and Anna Garcias blood type. The average adult has about five liters of blood
inside of their body, which makes up 7-8% of their body weight.
Shoeprint Analysis: The shoeprint that was found at the crime scene matches with Anna
Garcias shoeprint because it had the same pattern as the one found at the crime scene.
Hair Analysis: The hair that was found at the crime scene was Anna Garcias hair because it had
the same medulla and cuticle. Medulla is canal like a structure of cells that runs through the
center of the cortex. You cant find medulla in a plant or cotton. A cuticle has three main cuticle
patterns which are coronal, spinous, and imbricate.
Unknown Substance: The unknown substances was to find what was use in the crime scene and
what substance it was. The unknown substance was aspirin that was found at the crime scene.
The unknown substance appearance was flour, the smell/ texture was sweet and smooth, it was
bubbly, it turned black, and sizzle.
Blood Spatter: Blood Spatter is when we had to figure out what height the blood came from.
Anna Garcias blood fell from 60 mm like the height of the table.
DNA Analysis: The DNA analysis is when we searched up for how much DNA are in the genes.
The DNA that was found at the crime scene was the same as Anna Garcias DNA.
Discussing any problems: What it might mean to for a crime scene investigator is that they use
all the correct results to get the perfect answer. The only problem I had was trying to collect the
correct data, and also coming up the right conclusion for like the topic, like trying to summarize
the topic. The information that we couldnt really get from the lab we conducted was doing the
height of the blood and where it came from, and what height it might have fallen from.

Conclusion: I think the manner of death was natural health cause because her clothes werent
torn and if her clothe was torn it could have been a homicide because someone is trying choke
her or trying to pull her clothes off but no that did not happen. I think it is a natural cause
because she vomited on her blouse by her shoulder. She maybe drank a lot of aspirin, she might
have drank it for her pain or fever, and aspirin makes your blood thinner. She might of fallen
down and hit her right temple, and lost a lot of blood from the aspirin.
