Learning Objectives
1.
7/31/2014
Select an assessment that was discussed in OCCT 635 or OCCT 645 that you feel would be
appropriate for your current Fieldwork setting. You may select an assessment that was reviewed
by your professor or by your peers during the HOT Sheet presentations. Discuss your rational as
to why this would be an appropriate assessment for your setting/population. Please review clinical
utility as part of your rational for selecting this particular assessment.
2.
8/3/2014
Choose a patient from your current Fieldwork setting and complete a brief occupational profile.
Based on the information gained from the occupational profile, develop a 90 minute intervention
plan that would address one of your client's needs or deficits. Your intervention plan should be
client centered and occupationally based.
3.
8/14/2014
"Perform a chart review, complete the initial evaluation, and document the eval, goals, and
treatment plan per facility procedure with FE support as needed.

The purpose of a Level I Fieldwork experience is to provide an opportunity for exposure to occupational therapy intervention
and programming or, in the cases where no OT services are currently being provided, exposure to potential growth areas for
OT. We encourage as much hands on as possible and appropriate within each experience. It is expected that professional
behaviors are upheld in all settings.
Thank you for your participation in our program and your assistance in the educational process of our occupational therapy
students.
Please notify the Academic Clinical Coordinator immediately if this student is not performing to the facilities expectations for
Level I Fieldwork.
