    Why she is my role model


    Sofia Vergara is a very successful actress/model but nothing was handed to
    her easily. Sofia grew up in Colombia with 5 siblings and many other cousins.
    She went to college to study dentistry but then ended up leaving school to
    follow her dream and become a model. She moved to Miami, Florida to pursue
    her dream not long after that one of her brothers was murdered and that was
    really hard for her. After this tragedy she decided to bring some of her family to
    America with her. She never gave up on her dream of being a model/actress.
    Her first big break was in the movie Chasing Papi and from then on she did a
    variety of different things. She currently stars in a show called Modern
    Family on ABC where she plays a main character named Gloria. Her passion to
    follow her dream and never give up is why she is my role model.
