This article is from the official magazine website CATO, a controversial magazine that is
mainly anti-gay. The article goes on to explain how congress has tried to pass a bill
preventing states from recognizing same sex marriage. A harsh point in this article is
when they state congress, An amendment banning same-sex marriage is a solution in
search of a problem. This article is full of negative ideas and as well as remarks toward
gay marriage. This certain source is most definitely helpful to my question because it
shows that not only do ordinary people are against the new proposals but as well as the
men and women in D.C, that are against the new gay marriage proposals.

This CNN trademarked video is on the official website of the YouTube. This video has
gay marriage supporter Suze Orman describing all of the pros and as well the positive
outlook if gay marriage was passed by the Supreme Court. Orman then goes on to tell the
viewers what homosexual couples have to face in their daily lives, for example gay
couples will not receive their deceased spouses social security check due to the fact that
gay couples dont fall under the marriage act. But she then explains if the policy goes
through, homosexuals can now be considered a regular couple under federal law. This
source helps tremendously because Orman gives me the top benefits of gay marriage.

The information gathered for my question is from a college website EBSCO. This
particular website talks about the ballot of 2012. The article goes on to talk about four
states that had gay marriage proposals on their ballots that November, which included
Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, and Washington State. Another main point is when the
Maine Same Sex Marriage Question allowed homosexuals to marry in the state,
overturning a 2009 ban on the practice. This source is helpful towards my question in the
sense that it shows the support of the new gay marriage proposal and also a huge step
towards opening up doors for other states to start demolishing their state bans and go
forward with the same sex marriage proposal.

from http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-22758434
This is the official magazine of the reliable BBC News. This particular article goes on to
pin point those who are not in favor of homosexual marriages, but to make it more
interesting, the article also discusses gay couples who are as well not in favor in gay
marriage, thus sparking a great debate. Another main idea in this article is the decision
the Supreme Court judges have in the upcoming days to see if they will keep the same
sex major policy or go forward with the proposals. This source is helpful towards my
question because its showing the negative views towards gay marriage and those who
are against it.

This article goes on to follow a Caucasian gay couple who are going to get married.
Throughout the article they couple talks about the wide support they have from the white
communities. Another main point in this article is the experience the couple talks about
with other ethnic groups who have shown harsh expressions towards homosexual
couples, one being the Hispanic population. This article is extremely useful toward my
question because it describes the types of ethnic groups who are strongly against gay
marriage.

This is the official website of the National Conference of the State Legislature. This page
goes on to tell about homosexuals and their supporters trying to get the Supreme Court to
pass its proposal bill of allowing gay marriages take place all around the United States.
One main point in this article is the dismissal of state bans on gay marriage as its ruled to
be unconstitutional. Alabama is the latest state to overrule the ban. The information
provided in this website answers my question because it goes on to explain the moving
forward of gay marriage and the support from the Supreme Court.

certain ethnic groups who are strongly against the gay marriage policy.
