Waco Center for Youth (WCY)- State Hospital- Volunteered in the Dietetics
Department, teaching kids the importance of nutrition; designing meals according to
diet requirements. 2014-Present

Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infant, Children (WIC)


provides Federal grants to States for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and
nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding
postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at
nutritional risk. Volunteering Fall 2014 Present.

Pack of Hope, Waco Once a week at the Waco ISD Child Nutrition Services
Warehouse volunteers pack backpacks of nutritious meals to help fight the food
insecurity in Waco; eligible students receive a backpack to prevent hunger from
Friday through Sunday while they are not in school. 2012-Present

Junior Rodeo Committee (JRC) A very prestigious organized group for ages 16-21
volunteering to help set up, take down, and essentially work the annual Houston
Livestock Show and Rodeo. Spring 2011-2013

Team Up For Pets President of the Memorial Girls Basketball organization that
raised money, collected donations, and increased awareness for Citizens for Animal
Protective Services (CAPS) for two years. Responsible for the 1200 pounds of
pet supplies donated to CAPS each year. 2009/2010.

TGCA/UIL Houston Sports Clinic Volunteer time participating in athletic drills, UIL
Mock Hearings, motivational lectures and panel discussions to help out coaches

Texas Tornados Volleyball Clinic - Helped as an assistant, for teaching younger


children how to perform certain skills to pre-pair them for tryouts and the upcoming

Camp Life-Family Legacy - A mission trip in Lusaka, Zambia; giving orphans hope
and faith to find meaning in life and begin to spread the gospel amongst their

Young Life Wilderness Ranch, Colorado- A Christian based retreat where they
sent groups backpacking in the mountains, along the Continental Divide to grow in
faith, learn of true self strength and determination, and make life long friends. 1
