Civilization courses.

Student Teacher:
o Observed and helped to lead instruction for both the AP United States
History classes the United States History classes in accordance with
student teaching guidelines
o Assumed complete responsibility of the United States History classes
for one month and the AP United States History classes for two weeks.
Gained skills in:
o Collaboration assisted with departmental colleague in creating film
activities.
o Differentiation developed classwork, homework and projects for
students with a range of academic abilities including ELL students and
a wide range of IEPs.
o Technology created student led assignments in which students would
use iPads, smart phones, moodle notes and PowerPoints to research
and present material.
o Organized Content created worksheets and graphic organizers to
help students understand the big ideas of units and organize their
notes.
