    1) Six friends visited the zoo last weekend. The total cost of admission was $90.00. Because
    it was one persons birthday, the rest of the group decided divvy up the whole bill. How
    much does each person owe?

    2) To prepare for the weightlessness of space, astronauts train using steep dives on an
    aircraft. In one dive the aircraft can fall at 120 m/s for 20 seconds. How far did the plane
    fall?

    3) The daily lows for Red Deer, AB in late April for a week were recorded as +6C, -10C,
    +4C, -1C, -6C, -4C, -3C. What was the mean daily low temperature for the week?

    4) The morning temperature was -3C. By noon the temperature had increased by 17C. By
    3:00pm the temperature had risen another 4C. By 9:00 pm the temperature had fallen
    8C. What was the temperature at 9:00pm?

    5) If 28 times an integer is -448, what is the integer?

    integers?

    7) A small aircraft descends 90 meters at a speed of 3 m/s and then descends 80 m at a speed
