Current Media
Lead Volunteer
In nearly two years, worked with leader board and led other volunteers to improve mental and physical
life of cancer children and their parents by providing weekly entertaining sessions (drawing,
performance, reading), redecorating playground space, holding charitable events to raise fund,
collecting donated books and toys, providing and managing playing equipment.
Learned to listen and talk to people at many ages, jobs and geographical areas, especially from rural
areas, to truly understand their problem thus find out most appropriate support.
Was trusted to be the leader of the team in visual, performance and exhibition tasks despite of my
young age.

various stores to readers aged 15 to 18. Tasks included contacting potential shop owners, inviting them
to collaborate, going to shop to take photos and information of products and stores and writing
entertaining articles.
Learned to gain trust from shop owners in the first encounters and to be thoughtful of target readers'
interests and the publication's goals before writing.
Got compliments from readers for interesting content and managers for clear, concise and appropriate
writing skills. Got promoted to be column manager.
Communication Collaborator
Task included following VTV6 events to interview and write about characters, supporting production
stages by commenting on drafted show plan and increasing attendance for the shows, connecting
other collaborators through gathering events and charity trips.
Learned fast note-taking to prepare content for articles and listening to understand interviewees.
Was chosen to be an executive of VTV6 Collaborator Club and trusted by VTV6 staff to complete more
tasks.
Volunteer
Brought moments of joy through drawing, book-reading, singing and talking to children patients so that
they could fight on with cancer, every Sunday in Central Children Hospital, Hanoi.
Learned to get familiar quickly with new environment, to talk with patients and parents about their
problems without making them feel sad or offended.
Some kids in hospital really liked me that they kept asking "Will you come here to play with me tomorrow?",
which motivated me in volunteering for children long after that.
