Simple machines are tools that make work easier using energy and have few or no moving parts. An inclined plane is a simple machine that raises or lowers objects using less force over a longer distance, while a gear changes the speed or direction of motion by engaging another toothed mechanism. Simple machines help accomplish tasks using less effort.

SIMPLE MACHINES
Simple machines are tools that make work easier. They have few or no moving parts. These machines use energy to work.
An Inclined Plane has examples such as elevating one object to
higher grounds or lowering it to lower grounds. A Gear is a toothed wheel that engages another toothed mechanism in order to change the speed or direction of transmitted motion.
