Point

A pupil is an example of a point because it

locates an exact spot where everything is tied
together.

Line
The horizon of the ocean represents
a line because the ocean and the
sky meet and keep on going.

Plane
A perfect piece of paper that goes on forever is
an example of a plane because when you write
on it, it creates points.

Segment
This pen is an example of a segment because it
has a beginning and an end point.

Ray
The suns rays are a good example of a ray because it starts off at
a point, which is the sun, and goes on and doesnt end.

Collinear Points
This light post represents collinear points because
it is straight up, and has points between point A
and point B. That being the top and bottom of the
light post.

Acute Angle
A representation of an acute angle would be this alligators
mouth. It is open, but not open enough to be obtuse, which
is over 90 degrees. I chose this picture because its mouth
is open under 90 degrees, which what an acute angle is.

Obtuse Angle
This fan represents an obtuse angle. I chose this
because it is open more than 90 degrees, which
makes an obtuse angle. An obtuse angle is
obviously much larger than an acute angle.

Right Angle
This laptop, when set up straight, creates a 90
degree angle. This is what a right angle is, it
isnt above, or below 90. Basically a perfect
straight angle.

Perpendicular
Lines

This window sill has four lines in it, each equal

to 90 degrees. That is what perpendicular
means. The lines cross at a point, and equal the
same.

Complementary
Angles

This clock is exactly 90 degrees, and a

complementary angle means that the angle is
equal to 90.

Supplementary
Angles

This dancers legs are straight forward, each.

They would equal to 180 degrees, which is what
a supplementary angle is.

Vertical Angles

This rail road sign is an example of a vertical angle because it

crossed together, and equals the same amount when across
from each other. Look at the V looking shape, near the top.
Then look directly below that at the other V shape. That is a
vertical angle.
