ASSIGNMENT 3

Instructions:
For each expert area:
a. Write a professional report on how to manufacture a product using manufacturing
process you are assigned to. Items to be covered in your report:
i. Introduction
ii. Description of process to produce the product using manufacturing process
assigned to you. Use diagram/graph as necessary.
iii. Description of technology, costs, equipment & etc
iv. Conclusions.
b. Please note that your product cannot be the same with other student. Also for certain
groups who are not dealing with processes to produce products, they are free to
choose their products from any processes.
c. Evaluation criteria:
i. Technical soundness
1. Introduction and Conclusion
2. Process
3. Technology, costs, equipment & etc
ii. References:
1. Points taken from the references must be cited in the paragraph.
2. List the references at the end of report.
3. Plagiarism is a serious offence in writing a report.
d. Due softcopy and hardcopy on Thursday October 8th (Week 14) before start of class:
