EXPERIENCE

Patient Care Assistant, Reading Hospital

12/20135/2014

Home Health Aide, Bayada Home Health Care

09/201110/2014

Server/Bartender, Red Robin

I work on a medical surgical unit that houses 27 private beds. The

patients range from general admissions to cardiac and respiratory
complications. I am able to take care of the patient with their general
needs of bathing, eating, and ambulating. I help check their sugars
prior to eating, and sending down samples needed for the lab. I
assist the nurses with admissions and discharges. Part of being a
patient care assistant is also clerical duties. With clerical duties I
arrive and discharge patients in the system, take care of ambulance
transfers, print out consent forms, and answer and direct calls.
I work in the home with children with disabilities, mental or physical.
I have worked with children who have autism, MD, and prosthetics. I
would help them with their ADLs from eating, bathing, and
homework.
I make sure that the guest has the best experience possible! I would
make alcoholic drinks for the entire restaurant, as well as taking care
of my bar guests, and handling cash. Depending on the shift I would
either open the bar or close the bar, at the end of each shift I would
always stock the bar for the next day. As a server I would wait on
tables and get them their drinks, their food, and handle their cash
payments. Depending on the shift I will either close the restaurant or
open the restaurant. If I open or close I am the shift leader for the
shift and the servers need to be signed off by myself and the other
shiftleader on their sidework, silverware, and tables before leaving. If
I am not a shiftleader I make sure that my sidework and silverware

are finished and that my tables are stocked for the next shift.

Server/Host, Airport Diner

03/201001/2011

Lead Setter, Install America

I take care of the guest from the moment they walk through the door
by seating them, getting them their drinks and their food, and taking
their cash or credit card payments. At the end of my shift I make
sure that my silverware and sidework are finished and that my tables
are stocked up for the next shift.
I would call customers to help them with setting up their free home
estimates. I would also help to print out new leads that would come
into the building. I would help to answer phones and direct them to
where the caller would need to go. I would help to make the
schedule on the weekends for the upcoming days for the free
estimates and I would call to confirm the appointment with the
prospective buyers.
