    As a member of Symphony Orchestra at Lees Summit High School, I


    have an opportunity to play in the New Years Day Festival in London, England,
    December 27th, 2016 January 3rd, 2017. Im so excited! Each musician has put
    a great deal of energy and hard work into qualifying to attend, and were all
    thrilled to have an opportunity to perform.
    In order to represent our community at the London New Years Day
    Festival, we each have to raise $3399 to fund our trip. This is to cover
    transportation, accommodations, and the once in the lifetime opportunity to tour
    London. As part of our fundraising efforts, were contacting community leaders,
    friends, and family like you to request financial assistance.
    Half a half million people fill the streets to see the parade, and another 2.5
    million watch it on TV! And weve learned, their favorite part is seeing high school
    marching bands and symphonies, because they do not have them in the UK!
    That makes this opportunity even more exciting.
    Can I count on your support? Any amount you can donate will be greatly
    appreciated, and will go directly toward funding this incredible educational
    experience. You can even choose to sponsor a trip activity:
