Street & Area Lighting Deemed Calculation Method: Metal Halide Low Pressure Sodium
The purpose of the spreadsheet is to provide the user with a method to calculate the annual energy savings resulting from the
installation of more energy efficient street or area lighting. This spreadsheet also computes the Conservation and Renewable
Energy Rate Discount Credit associated with these savings. The user must provide three inputs: 1) The type of lamp and watta
of the existing fixture, 2) the type of lamp and wattage of the replacement fixture; and, 3) the annual operating hours of the lam
not photo-sensor controlled.
