    4. Bible Study Group for Earliteens ages 11-14 is open


    Tuesdays at 7 pm. Teens will continue
    using Amazing Facts curriculum Most
    Important Questions. Please call
    George Perez for further information.

    9. Please remember, the Parents room adjacent to the


    social hall (our Beginner Sabbath School Room) is for
    parents with young children and babies only during the
    worship service.
    10. We regret to announce that the serving utensils from the
    London Church kitchen are missing. The kitchen
    volunteer staff would appreciate your assistance in their
    recovery and return.
    11. "The London South youth department will be leading out
    in the AY program at the London North church this
    Sabbath evening beginning at 7:00pm. All are invited to
    attend in support of our youth in action. Be there and be
    prepared to blessed!"
    12. CYSA Track and Field is BACK at York University! Get
    your teams and athletes together and join us on Sunday,
    July 17, 2016. CYSA welcomes your contribution
    towards our scholarship funds to financially support our
    students in need.

    5. Youth Bible Study Group for youth


    ages 15 - 25+ continues every at
    Thursday 7 pm @ 785 Nadine
    Avenue (Ferreiras home).

    Academy Main Campus at 1:00 pm on May 29, 2016.

    Events

    Friends of Jesus Adventurer Club meeting


    dates on April 30. Inspection date has been
    changed to May 7. Please wear Type A
    uniform.

    7. Volunteers are needed to help with


    Childrens Church. If you are able to
    assist, please speak with any member
    of the Childrens Ministry team.
    8. Food Handlers Certification training will
    take place May 1st. If you have received
    the training five years ago its time to
    renew. Please see Teresa Ferreira
    immediately if interested.

    14. Mother's Day celebration is planned for


    May 7th beginning at 7 pm. Get ready to
    participate in a hat parade The cost to
    attend is $2:00 If possible, each family should dress in
    similar colors
    15. Our Golden Agers (age 55+) will be
    going on a bus trip to Niagara Falls
    and Niagara on the Lake on Sunday
    June 26. We are joining the North
    London Forever Young Seniors. We plan to leave
    London 8 AM and be back here at 8 PM. The cost
    is $30 each prepaid and non-refundable. Please
    sign the Sign Up Sheet in the foyer if you want to

    join us and talk to Don Topper or Adrien Intering for


    more information.
    16. The Golden Agers are inviting all who are age 55 and
    over (and guests) for a hike in Springbank Park
    Tuesday May 24th . Please meet at the shelter across
    from the Shoppers Drug Mart on Commissioners Rd.
    at 11 AM. A potluck picnic lunch will follow the hike.

    About James Astleford


    Bio (as/if needed): Born in Canada, James Astleford grew up
    in East Africa with his missionary parents. He was educated
    in Kenya, UK and USA (where he obtained MA and MSA
    degrees from Andrews University). His work experience
    includes business management in Australia, Church pastoring
    in Alberta, and Church leadership positions in southern Asia.
    His involvement with ADRA began part time in 1984 in India
    and Nepal, and full time in 1991. He has been Associate
    Director for ADRA India; and Executive Director for ADRA
    Sri Lanka, ADRA Philippines and ADRA South Sudan. Since
    2003 Pastor Astleford has been with ADRA Canada and
    currently serves as the Executive Director.
