the environment and the endangered animals;
- learn Ss to cope with extreme situations.
METHOD OF TEACHING: Communicative Approach.
TEACHING TECHNIQUES: prediction, conversation, role-play, choral repetition, explanation.
TEACHING AIDS: textbook, DVD World Wonders 2, worksheet, blackboard and chalk.
INTERACTION: T S, T Ss, S S, S Ss, Ss Ss.
KIND OF ACTIVITY: Whole class, pair work, individually.
ASSESSMENT: Ss will be assessed on class participation.
SKILLS: listening, speaking, reading, writing.
ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS:
- some Ss might have problems when working in pairs;
- a few among the Ss may be given supplementary explanations in Romanian.
