Parent/Guardian Welcome! My name is Ms. Shaikia Bonner and I will be (Students Name) instructor for the upcoming school year. Throughout the course of the year, I plan to engage my students in educational activities and instill in them the importance of education while creating a positive learning experience. First grade is an exciting and critical time as children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning. During first grade your child will enhance reading skills, develop writing skills, master addition, subtraction, and so much more. You will be amazed at how much your child will grow this year As a graduate of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, I am excited about sharing my knowledge with the Crossroad family and community. I currently have a Professional Florida Certificate in the area of Elementary Education (K-6) and have had the opportunity to work with children of various age groups. I will strive each day to make learning a fun and enriching process for your child. However, The parent-teacher relationship is vital to your childs success and to help your child reach their full potential! I believe that you and I are a team working together to help your child develop emotionally and academically. I look forward to working with you to make this school year as successful as possible.
