Mr. Whimper, a solicitor living in Willingdon, had
agreed to act as an intermediary between animal farm
and the outside world, and would visit the farm every
Monday morning to receive his instructions.
This quote is important because, it represents Mr.
Whympers commitment in working with the Animal
Farm.

Mr. Whimper was a sly-looking little man with side
whiskers, a solicitor in a very small way of business, but
sharp enough to have realized earlier than anyone else
that animal farm would need a broker and that the
commission would be worth having.
This quote is important because, it represents Mr.
Whympers true motive to make money.

Whymper his face was deadly pale, came racing up the
path on his bicycle, flung it down in the yard and rushed
straight in the farmhouse.
This quote is important because, at this point in the
story Mr. Whymper was terrified that his opportunity to
work with the animal farm will soon come to an end.
