    The Normanhurst West Public School Concert Band has been approved to perform at the Yamaha Music Festival on June 22, 2010 at 7pm. Students need to arrive by 6pm at the UTS Ku-ring-gai Campus in Lindfield to be in the holding room by 6:45pm. Students should wear their full band uniform and bring their instruments and music. Parents are responsible for transporting their children and tickets can be purchased at the door for $10 or less depending on age or family status.

    BAND EXCURSION INFORMATION NOTE

    Dear Parent/Guardian,

    Approval has been given for the CONCERT BAND to perform at the Yamaha Music Festival on Tuesday 22nd
    June 2010.

    PERFORMANCE TUESDAY 22nd JUNE 2010


    Transport: Please arrange your own transport
    Time: Please arrive at 6 pm at UTS, Ku-ring-gai Campus , Lindfield to perform at
    7pm, followed by a 15 minute workshop. NB: It is very important to arrive
    1 hour before performance. Children need to be in holding room 45
    minutes prior to performance or we will be moved to a later time slot.
    Tickets: Available at the door. CASH ONLY. Adults $10, Child/Concession $5, Family
    $20 (2 adults, 2 concessions)
    Parking: Free parking UTS Car Park Lindfield (600 spaces)
    Additional Information: Children are to wear full BAND UNIFORM. This includes black
    pants, black socks, black polished shoes and band shirt
    Children to bring instruments and music folders.
    If your child is unable to attend, please let Rachel or Linda know
    ASAP.
    If you need help with transport, please let Rachel or Linda know
    ASAP.
    Please note completion time is approximate as festivals can run early or
    late.

    Children will be accompanied behind stage by Mr Ray Hampton (Conductor) along with Rachel Allen and Linda
    Stenning (Concert Band Co-Ordinators).
