relaxing, spacious yet personal.

Nissan QASHQAI’s concentrated independent driver design wraps around you to

create a fun, focused, sporty feel without compromising on the driver’s personal
space. Passengers aren’t left out as the entire interior is designed to feel roomy,
refined, light and airy.

See how good it feels when you make your own rules?

Easy does it. Buttons on the steering wheel control both your integrated Bluetooth
and audio system.

QASHQAI is available in two specification grades. Visia is bold outside, while the inside
trim is relaxed with chic simplicity. Acenta has a mood of contemporary elegance, yet
retains a subtle sense of style while expanding on Visia’s extensive specification.
IT’S YOUR PERSONAL SPACE 09

Storage: the large 14 litre glovebox offers loads of space, a sunglasses holder, and
can even be cooled by the air conditioning.

Accessibility: the centre console holds up to eight of your favourite CDs plus two
drinks bottles.

Privacy: the underseat drawer in Acenta models hides away items like maps, your
camera, cellphone or MP3 player.

Space: the interior is open and inviting, with room to stretch out in all directions.
By day, it’s light and airy. By night, the saturated orange instrument lighting has an
intimate yet hi-tech feel.

Class: perfect stitching is one of the small details that makes Nissan QASHQAI feel
like a car in a class above. And there’s a useful seat pocket too.

Light: in the back, you have your own independently controlled courtesy lights.

The ride: with high-density padding, Nissan QASHQAI’s seats are plush and
supportive. Rear seat occupants feel like first class passengers with their own
armrest that also feature cupholders. The rear seats split 60:40 to fold down
separately or together, extending the already generous load space even further.

QASHQAI’S power comes from a choice of two lightweight aluminium petrol engines.
Both 1.6 l 5-speed and 2.0 l 6-speed offer responsive performance while still feeling
smooth and refined.

What makes QASHQAI stand out though, is its distinctive styling, high riding position
with 200mm ground clearance and unique features such as the integrated Bluetooth
hands-free system with high mounted microphone on the steering wheel for clear
speech.

Nissan QASHQAI’s strength contributes to its dynamic safety and excellent perform-
ance. The highly protective rigidity contributes to secure and stable road holding, with
suspension specially tuned to give clear driver feedback for both enhanced safety
and enjoyment.

Large diameter brakes with ABS, EBD and Brake Assist provide superior stopping
power.

Independent rear multilink suspension allows secure cornering and ensures stability
at high speed.

Six airbags come standard, along with pre-tensioner front seatbelts.

Intelligent protection: in case of a rear collision, front seat active head restraints move
forward to reduce the risk of whiplash injury.

WITH VDC

Cope with emergencies confidently. The latest generation VDC (Vehicle Dynamic
Control) on the 2.0l Acenta model helps to keep you on course, even when making
evasive manoeuvres.
