Mr. Saroj K. Datta, Executive Director, Jet Airways (India) Ltd., completed his education at St. Stephen's
College, Delhi, with a post-graduate degree in Economics. After a two-year stint at the National Council
of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) in New Delhi, Mr. Datta joined Air-India in November 1962.
During his tenure with Air-India, Mr. Datta worked in various sections of the Commercial and Planning
Departments of the airline. In 1980, he was appointed Deputy Director, Planning and International
Department with overall charge of the Department. Mr.Datta joined Kuwait Airways in 1987 as the
Planning and Economic Advisor. He returned back to India in September 1990 following the Iraqi
invasion of Kuwait. In early 1991 he joined the Jetair Group of Companies, India's largest General Sales
Agent, in Mumbai as its Executive Director. Since early 1992, Saroj Datta has headed the Jet Airways
project to set-up a private domestic airline conceived by Mr. Naresh Goyal, Chairman of the Jet Airways
group following the liberalisation of the Civil Aviation Policy by the Government of India. Mr. Datta has
brought to bear his many years of aviation experience into this project. Assisted by a group of dedicated
professionals, Mr. Datta has meticulously coordinated the various activities leading to the setting-up of
the airline culminating in the launch of Jet Airways, a leading private domestic airline in India on May 5,
1993. Mr. Datta is a member of the Board of Jet Airways and is the Executive Director of the airline.
Mr. Yash Chopra | Director
Mr. Yash Chopra, an Indian national, has been appointed a Director of the Company since April 2006.
Mr. Chopra has had a distinguished career spanning over five decades in the Indian film industry. His
work has been recognized in India and overseas and he has received several prestigious awards for his
outstanding contribution to Indian Cinema. These include the National and Filmfare awards, the BBC
Asia Awards (in 1998 and 2001), the Dr. Dadabhai Naoroji Millennium Lifetime Achievement Award (in
2001), the Dadasaheb Phalke Award (in 2001), the Priyadarshini Award and Punjab Rattan Award (in
2006) to name a few. Mr. Chopra has been conferred with Honorary Doctorates by The Leeds
Metropolitan University, UK (in 2007); The Guru Nanak University, Amritsar, India (in 2004) & The
Punjab University, Chandigarh, India (in 2008). He was formally bestowed with France’s highest civilian
award, the “Officier de la Legion d’ Honneur” (Officer of the Legion of Honour) in 2008. Mr. Chopra has
also been awarded a Certificate of Recognition from the British Tourist Authority and British Film
Commission for promoting tourism in the U.K. through his films. In 2005, Mr. Chopra was conferred the
Padma Bhushan, one of the Country's highest civilian honours. He is also the Chairman of one of India’s
most vibrant, innovative and successful film production houses of all times – Yash Raj Films.

Mr. N. S. Kannan
Executive Director & CFO
Mr. N.S. Kannan is the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of ICICI Bank. In addition to Finance,
Taxation and Communications, his responsibilities include Compliance, Internal Audit, Corporate Legal and
Global Treasury operations.
Prior to the current assignment, Mr. Kannan was the Executive Director of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance
Company. He looked after the Corporate Centre including the Finance and accounts functions, Investor/analyst
relations, Investment Management, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Communications, Human Resources and
Business Intelligence. Prior to shifting to ICICI Prudential, Mr. Kannan was the Chief Financial Officer and
Mr. Kannan has been with the ICICI group for over 18 years. He joined the ICICI group in 1991 as a project
officer. During his tenure at ICICI group, he has handled project finance operations, infrastructure financing,

rajan Bharti Mittal is the Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Bharti Enterprises. He is a non-executive director,
Chairman of the Board ESOP Compensation Committee and a member of the Board HR Committee of Bharti Airtel. He
is a graduate from Panjab University and an Alumnus of Harvard Business School.
He is currently the President of FICCI and is also a member of the Managing and Standing Committees of PHDCCI, a
member of the Council of Management of AIMA, and a member of the Executive Committee of International Chambers
of Commerce – India chapter.
He has held several key positions in various industry associations in the past as well. In FICCI he was the Chairman of

Retail Committee in 2007, Infrastructure Committee in 2006, Telecom & IT Committee in 2004 & 2005, and Telecom
Committee in 2001, 2002 and 2003.

As the CFO, Mohan played a strategic role in transforming Infosys into one of the world’s most
respected and widely known software services companies. He formulated the country’s first
publicly articulated financial policy for the company. He played a key role in branding the company
among the investor community and enhancing transparency and disclosure levels. The Infosys
Annual Report, under his supervision, has won the Best Presented Annual Accounts Award from
the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for 10 years in succession as well as from the South Asia Federation of
Accountants in 2000.
Mohan was an integral part of the Infosys team that enabled the first listing of an India-registered company on NASDAQ
and the first sponsored secondary offering of American Depositary Shares by an Indian company. He was voted ’CFO
of the Year’ in 2001 by IMA India (formerly EIU India) and American Express. He won the ’Best CFO in India’ award
from Finance Asia in 2002, and ’Best Chief Financial Officer in India’ in the Best Managed Companies poll conducted by
AsiaMoney in 2004.
Mohan has been active in working with regulators to improve the business ecosystem. He was also a member of the
Kelkar Committee, constituted by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India (GOI) for reforming direct taxes, the
Non-Resident Taxation Committee, the High Powered Committee on e-Commerce and Taxation. He is currently a
member of the SEBI Accounting Standards Sub-committee and the Empowered Committee for setting up the Tax
Information Network of the GOI.
He also works with the union and state governments in the fields of education, Information Technology and business.
Mohan is also a Trustee of the International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation, the body that oversees the
International Accounting Standards Board. He is working with governments and decision-makers across India to
improve the quality of education and availability of skilled manpower. He is also involved with the Akshaya Patra
Foundation, a project that provides mid-day meals to over 950,000 children across India, which aims to reach out to one
million children.
Mohan holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, Bangalore, and a bachelor’s
degree in law (LLB) from Bangalore University. He is also a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA).
