    IA 5 has been filed on behalf of the All


    India Association of Central Excise Gazetted
    Executive Officers, Kanpur Unit, for impleadment.

    Another application has been filed by the same Association
    for the same relief. Both have been listed today for
    consideration.I.A.6 has been filed on behalf of the
    appellants for appropriate directions. As far as I.A.5/10,
    is concerned, the same is not pressed and
    is accordingly dismissed as not pressed. The other two
    I.As., one for impleadment and the other for directions,
    is adjourned for two weeks to enable learned counsel for
    the Union of India to file an affidavit indicating the
    decision of the Union of India with regard to the proposed
    revision of the ratio with regard to the appointment of
    Assistant Commissioners, Customs and Excise Department.
