Electromagnetic Wave Pattern

This software package uses computer graphics and simulations to visualize electromagnetic problems in real time. It aims to balance modeling, hands-on training, and computer simulations in undergraduate electromagnetic curriculum. The first module demonstrates electric fields, potential differences, vector analysis, and wave propagation through simulations and visualizations, including motion pictures, to enhance instruction on electromagnetic theory concepts.

Visualization of the electromagnetic wave pattern

This visualization module is to enhance instruction in fields and waves courses through
the use of computer graphics for visualization of real world electromagnetic problems in near
real time using personal computers. Most of the undergraduate’s electromagnetic curriculum
should be able to establish a balance among modeling, hand-on training and computer-based
simulations [1].This software package is developed by the authors for educational as well as
research purposes. Electromagnetism is the physics of electromagnetic field, a field which exert
a force on particle that process the electric charges and turn effect by motion of that particle. In
simple term, electromagnetic is the study of the effect of charge in rest and in motion. AWLAB
first module is electromagnetic theory will provide concept visualization of the electric field,
potential different, and vector analysis in brief and provide the demonstration of wave’s
propagation, the examples on the wave in free space and lossy medium. One of the features of
AWLAB packages is simulation output of certain topic has the visualization in motion picture
(using movie command in MATLAB).
