TYPE OF INCIDENT: Robbery Armed
DATE: 4/19/2011 TIME: 9:43 pm DAY OF WEEK: Tuesday
LOCATION: 4700 block of Washtenaw Ave, Spicetree Apts, Pittsfield Twp
COMPLAINT NUMBER: 11-3823
INFORMATION: On the above date and time Pittsfield officers responded to the above area for a
report of an Armed Robbery. Upon arrival the officers made contact with the male victim, a 22 year
old Ypsilanti resident. The victim stated that he was seated in his vehicle when he was approached
by two black male subjects who asked to use his cell phone. The victim gave one of the suspects his
cell phone to use and then both suspects produced handguns and pointed it at the victim. The
suspects took the victim's car keys, gold necklace, and cell phone. The suspects left the area in an
unknown direction on Packard Road in a gold Malibu, possibly an early 2000 model, with tinted
windows. The victim was unharmed.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone having witnessed the incident is asked to call the
Pittsfield Township Department of Public Safety at 734-822-4911.

SUSPECT(S): 2 b/m's, 6'0", thin, early 20's, one wearing blue hoodie
