A/ a valid temporary amateur-radio licence issued by the Belgian telecommunications authorities (called BIPT) or
B/ a valid licence (with the appropriate licence-class) from a country which has reciprocal CEPT agreement for
operating in Europe
EQUIPMENT PRE-REQUISITE
Most VHF & UHF repeater stations in Belgium are activated using sub-audible CTCSS tones. Therefore, to access
VHF/UHF repeaters, a transceiver must feature CTCSS capability.
