TAYRONA PARK

In the department of Magdalena, 34 km from the beautiful


city of Santa Marta, Tayrona National Park is a sanctuary of
nature and archaeological remains are invited to meet with
yourself. Ecosystems such as mangroves, corals, sea grass,
scrub and dry forest magic, damp and cloudy proliferate and
home to a surprising variety of plants and animals that are
living testimony

.
Created in 1969, with 12000 hectares of land and 3,000
marine which is considered a natural park by the biological
and archaeological value they possess. Its temperature ranges
from 25 º C and 32 ° C, and extending from the 0-9 on sea

Natural Park was before the conquest, an area in which the

Similarly, there are 31 species of reptiles, 15 amphibians, 202


of sponges, 471 crustaceans, and more than 1000 marine
species. The dolphins and turtles also frequent the area, the

In ocean ecosystems Tayrona Park has 350 species of algae


that represent only a portion of the total vegetation of this area
is considered the richest of all the Colombian Caribbean, with
