BENEFITS
TIBCO BusinessWorks
Companies of all sizes are looking for ways to gain competitive advantage, grow revenues, and improve their bottom line. The key challenge they face in doing so is reducing costs and removing latency from their operations. Standards for the representation and exchange of data abound, but they are valuable only in context of a solution that orchestrates business assets and activities. TIBCO BusinessWorks business integration software addresses this need by enabling companies to manage interactions between their applications and people, and to orchestrate the functions that those assets must perform in order to complete business activities such as designing new products, fulfilling orders, or creating sales forecasts. By doing so, TIBCO BusinessWorks reduces the amount of time, effort and money required to develop and deploy these automated processes. TIBCO BusinessWorks provides a graphical user interface for configuring application services and modeling process flows, a rich set of plug-ins for application connectivity, a data transformation engine and a process engine that executes defined process flows. It also provides a Web-based interface the enables administrators to monitor and manage processes and application resources.
Reduces the amount of time required to complete business activities by eliminating the need for time-consuming and error-prone data re-entry and manual processing tasks. Reduces the amount of time and effort required to develop and deploy automated business activities by providing a design environment with which developers can visually define and configure processes, which significantly reduces coding. Unlocks the value and extends the valuable life of existing applications by enabling them to exchange information with other applications in real-time and participate in business processes that involve other applications.
TIBCO BusinessWorks features an easy-to-use interface that enables rapid deployment of integration solutions so companies can solve problems of all sizes.

TECHNOLOGY
Assemble
BusinessWorks gives IT staff the ability to quickly integrate the applications, people and pieces of information that are required to perform the tasks that comprise a business activity by assigning appropriate resources to all tasks and decisions.
Deploy
BusinessWorks reduces the time and complexity of implementing new or modified processes by automatically propagating configuration information and instructions to the servers and applications that support the process.
Manage
TIBCO BusinessWorks stores and tracks process data, allowing businesspeople and IT managers to access and analyze a rich set of process metrics so they can measure key performance indicators such as cycle times, resource utilization, and performance relative to objectives. By analyzing these metrics, they can modify existing processes and build a library of "best practices" that ensure maximum efficiency and continuous improvement.
Supports Web Services with SOAP processors and a WSDL editor Supports XML with built-in schema authoring tool, parsing and rendering capabilities, and an XSLT-based wizard and engine for transformation. Supports Java types and methods for easy access to custom or third-party libraries without Java coding. Supports J2EE, JMS and direct access to EJB without coding.
