    * There is y there are equivalen a la forma impersonal hay. En ingls, a diferencia del castellano, hay una forma singular y otra plural para corresponder al sustantivo que viene detrs. Hay dos diccionarios encima de la mesa. * Si hay varios sustantivos en la frase, es el primero de ellos el que determina que forma del verbo se utiliza. Theres a tables and four chairs.
