The Stars
On the near night you may see over two thousands stars in the sky, in heaven something like six thousand stars that observe by the naked eye. In our modern telescope we observe that the billion of stars that detects.
2 known stars
1. Proxima Centauri A.K.A. Alpha Centauri -which is about same distance from the sun, and a very bright stars Is Sirius which is 8.6 light years. 2. Alpha Hercules -is the largest star which is about 200,000 times the size of the sun. Constellation is a group of fixed stars. Ex: Big Dipper Big dipper is the Little Dipper with the Polaris at the end of this handle.
4 types of stars
1. The larger, cool, red stars 2. The smaller, bluish-white, very hot stars 3. The still smaller, yellow, hot stars 4. The small, cool, red stars In this stage the higher reaches temperature is greater tha 25,000 C that gives off light and heat at a tremendous rate.
Motion of stars
The motion of stars is obtained by spectrographic data, and the movement of stars by average with relation to one another is about 18 miles per second.
Triangulation
Is used by the surveyors to measure the distance of stars from the earth.
Parallax
Is refers to the apparent shift of an object viewed from two different places. Example: A star with a parallax of 0.4 seconds of an arc is 2.5 per seconds away.
