The Applications & Business Process Outsourcing Director will develop and implement strategy, campaigns and marketing activities on behalf of the Dell Services business. Reporting into the CMO of Services, this senior level position will sit on the Services Marketing leadership team with dot-line reporting into the Chairman of Dell India and Global Vice President of Applications & BPO. This candidate must have a solid foundation and background in complex IT consulting, specifically in areas around application migration, business intelligence and all vertical markets. Experience driving exponential growth of emerging capabilities in a highly matrixed environment and/or transformative IT outsourcing/consulting is a must. All candidates must have experience leading marketing for applications & BPO providers on a global scale and be able to hire a world-class team with the appropriate capabilities. Awareness-building capability and extensive analyst/influencer relations experience required. This leader will be responsible for delivering integrated marketing plans that meet business financial goals, aligning with vertical and/or regional initiatives, and capitalizing on market trends and opportunities within the Apps & BPO portfolio and key global markets. Responsible for assessing market trends, quantifying opportunities, and developing programs to meet the growing needs of the solution and business. Drives overall marcom and program strategy, including budget recommendations, planning, execution and results-based tracking and reporting. Supports sales training and enablement. Utilizes 3rd party customer data and direct customer interaction information to provide feedback to the product group and messaging team. Key Job Responsibilities Manage, align and coordinate a global team of direct and dotted line employees to maximize both efficiency and effectiveness of marketing activities. Owns the development and execution of the go-to-market plans to support specific growth initiatives. Drives and executes an integrated marketing plan to support the P&L. Develops content and programs that achieve sales demand through traditional and cutting edge marketing vehicles, thought leadership programs, sales training, customer research and customer briefings. Serves as subject matter expert for industry trends, customer buying behavior, pain points, competitors, and vertical market opportunities. Partners with Services Communications team to increase visibility, education and awareness to key industry and influencer audiences through use of press releases, case studies, press briefings, featured stories, speaking opportunities and analyst briefings. Drives overall events strategy, including recommended events, budget allocation, proposed content and KPI tracking. Works with vertical marketing colleagues to develop vertical solution strategy, including opportunity analysis, marketing plan development and execution. Utilizes standard campaign methodology and metrics to track marketing/sales efforts and drive program results throughout quarter/year. Determines most effective sales tools and drives usage to maximize sales productivity. Ensures that sales and marketing teams understand and are able to fully utilize tools to enhance sales and marketing activities. Works with merchandising and online teams to make recommendations/decisions on dell.com content. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree and 10+ years relevant experience in the IT Services sector, including 5+ years in a marketing capacity Strategic thinker and proven innovator with a track record of driving results Strong communicator, able to forge internal and external relationships Candidate must be organized, enthusiastic, results oriented, innovative and able to deal with ambiguity and tight deadlines while working effectively in a team environment Intense focus on customer outcomes This is a manager role "LIIN"
