Stacey Rutledge, Principal Cora Brettel & Jenny Worn, Assistant Principals
Parents, we have had a great 6 weeks of school. Everything has started off very smoothly, and I
would like to thank everyone for all of their help and cooperation in making the start of school a success. Our drop-off and pick-up traffic has improved every day as our students have learned school routines. Our teachers are hard at work introducing your child to all of the e xciting things they are going to learn this year. As the school year unfolds, we hope that you take an active part in your childs education. Our staff is here to help answer any questions that you may have. Feel free to contact us if you have any concerns or questions. We are looking forward to a great year here at WCPS.
News from Mrs. Singletary, WCPS Parent Involvement Coordinator: If you have any questions about events

for the parent(s)/guardian(s) of our students. An Email Information Request form was sent home with students on Friday, September 7 th. If you would like to begin receiving emails about what is going on at our school, please fill out this form and return to the school. If you have any questions about the email system, please give me a call. (See contact information listed above.)

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school. Thank you for supporting our school!!!

Harveys Hometown Rewards Program: Our school participates in the Harveys Hometown Rewards Program. We
collected 523,817 points during the 2011-2012 school year. We collected more points than any other school in our area. With these points we were able to purchase much needed school equipment and supplies at no cost to our school. Our goal this year is to do as good if not better than last year. To do this we need your help. Please return your Harveys Rewards Registration form with your Rewards Card number. We will be glad to enter your information for you. You can even go to our school website (wcps.worthschools.net) and register by clicking on the Harveys link. After you get registered all you have to do is have a Harveys cashier swipe your card every time you shop at any Harveys Supermarket.
